Once again like the last few years we recreated the Staff Room for the Retired Teachers of South Point

Visits to Teachers' homes and meeting with Teachers and their families, on many different occasions.

Pointers Who Care regularly organises Medical Camps for the retired teachers. On two Saturdays, end of May 2012 & early June Eye Camps were organised. These are pictures from the Day 2 (9th Jun, 2012) from the Eye Camp.

The Dental Camp for Teachers started around 10 AM and lasted till about 1:30 PM, during which time, over a dozen teachers, a few of whom had brought their spouses, received comprehensive dental check-ups. Conveyance to and from the venue was provided by PWC, and most Teachers availed of that arrangement. Photos: Courtesy Joyjit Ghosh.

PWC arranged a small get together, comprising a few teachers, at Smriti Basu Aunty's place on her birthday. Smriti Anunty is unable to move out of her house on account of her ill health. In that gathering, warm emotions came gushing forth from the past, and there were misty eyes and choked voices, as Aunty's dear colleagues celebrated her birthday.
